Polished Concrete Flooring

Properties

Polished Concrete refers to concrete floor surfaces that are polished by use of a material called Lithium silicate. This Nano-sized material is applied on smoothened concrete and works by filling up the cavities of the concrete surface (or flooring) that it is applied. The molecules that fill up the cavities “crystalize” forming a hardened surface for the concrete. The final product is a surface or flooring that is highly durable and scratch-resistant. In addition to durability, polished concrete gives a high gloss and serves an aesthetic appearance for use in all industrial and residential floorings. Polished Concrete gives a high gloss appearance to concrete surfaces without the need for waxing. Furthermore, the surface is seamless and highly durable and scratch-resistant and prevents water buildup (easy-to-clean surface).
